The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
