۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 Other than God," (the angels will be told), "then show them the way to Hell, 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 and approach each other with questions, 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 We had no power over you. You were a rebellious people, 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 You will only be recompensed according to your deeds.” 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits of every kind, and they will be honoured 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty). 48 so delicate as the hidden peel under an egg's shell. 49 And they will all turn to one another, asking each other [about their past lives]. 50 One of them will say, "I had a companion who asked me, 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 He saith: Will ye look? 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition! 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 Then, are we not to die 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Indeed, this is the great attainment. 60 for the like of this let the workers work.' 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 We have appointed it as a trial for the evildoers. 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 So indeed they will eat from it, and fill their bellies with it. 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then their return will be to the same blazing Hell. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 yet before them most of the ancients went astray, 71 And indeed We had sent Heralds of warnings among them. 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74
