And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 And take in thine hand a handful of twigs, and strike therewith, and break not thine oath. Verily We! We found him patient. How excellent a bondman! Verily he was oft-returning. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 And other (torment) of the kind in pairs (the two extremes)! 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say nay! it is ye, for whom there is no welcome: it is ye who have brought it upon us. Evil shall be the resting-place. 60 They will say: our Lord! whosever hath brought this upon us, unto him increase doubly the torment of the Fire. 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Did we laugh at them (for nothing), or our eyes fail to pick them out?" 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
