۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
