Nay, by the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 a warning to humankind, 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
