Have you not seen how Allah is exalted by those in the heavens and earth, and the birds with outspread wings? He knows its prayers and its exaltations and Allah has knowledge of the things they do. 41 The kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah alone, and all shall have to return to Him. 42 Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it. And He sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The flash of its lightening almost takes away the eyesight. 43 It is Allah Who alternates the Night and the Day: verily in these things is an instructive example for those who have vision! 44 And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills for verily Allah has power over all things. 45 We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight. 46 They say, 'We believe in God and the Messenger, and we obey.' Then after that a party of them turn away; those -- they are not believers. 47 And when they are called to [the words of] Allah and His Messenger to judge between them, at once a party of them turns aside [in refusal]. 48 But if right had been with them they would have come unto him willingly. 49 Are their hearts diseased, or do they have doubts, or do they fear that Allah and His Noble Messenger will oppress them? In fact they themselves are the unjust. 50
