The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 178 so fear God, and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others). 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 And thou art but a human being like unto us, and we deem thee to be of the liars. 186 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." 187 He said: My Lord knows best what you do. 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
