۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
