And one of His signs is that He created you from dust, then lo! you are mortals (who) scatter. 20 Another of His signs is that He created for you from among yourselves spouses, so that you might find repose in them, and He created between you affection and kindness. Truly there are signs in this for people who reflect. 21 Other evidence of His existence are the creation of the heavens and the earth and the differences of languages and colors. In this there is evidence (of the truth) for the worlds (mankind). 22 And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen. 23 And of His signs is that he sheweth you the lightning for a fear and for a hope, and sendeth down from the heaven water, and therewith quickeneth the earth after the death thereof; verily herein are signs for a people who reflect. 24 And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth remain established by His command; then when He calls you – from the earth – you will thereupon emerge. 25 Unto Him belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient unto Him. 26 It is He who first creates and then reverts it. This is how His law works inevitably. His semblance is of the most sublime in the heavens and the earth. He is all-mighty and all-wise. 27
