Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
