The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
