A numerous company from among the first, 39 and a throng of the later folk. 40 As for the Companions of the Left 41 (They will be) in the midst of a Fierce Blast of Fire and in Boiling Water, 42 Under the shadow of thick black smoke 43 neither cool nor good. 44 and before that they lived at ease, 45 And they have been persisting in the heinous offence. 46 And they used to say, "What! when we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be raised up again?- 47 (We) and our fore-fathers of yore?” 48 Say: 'Those of ancient times and those of later times 49 shall all be brought together on an appointed Day. 50 and then, verily, O you who have gone astray and called the truth a lie, 51 will eat from the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 And fill (your) bellies with it; 53 "And drink Boiling Water on top of it: 54 You shall drink it as the thirsty camels drink." 55 This shall be their hospitality on the Day of Doom. 56 We! it is We Who created you: wherefore confess ye not? 57 Behold! that which ye emit. 58 Do you create it, or We are its creator? 59 We have [indeed] decreed that death shall be [ever-present] among you: but there is nothing to prevent Us 60 from changing the nature of your existence and bringing you into being [anew] in a manner [as yet] unknown to you. 61 You have known the first growth; so why will you not remember? 62 Have you considered what you sow? 63 Is it you that cause it to grow, or are We the causers of growth? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry pieces, and you would be regretful (or left in wonderment). 65 (Saying): "We are indeed Mughramun (i.e. ruined or lost the money without any profit, or punished by the loss of all that we spend for cultivation, etc.)! [See Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 17, Page 219] 66 Rather, we have been deprived." 67 Consider the water that you drink. 68 Is it you that send it down from the clouds or We? 69 If We had so pleased, We could have made it bitter. So why would you not give thanks? 70 Did you consider the fire which you kindle? 71 Have you raised its tree, or We have raised it? 72 It is We who have made it as a reminder and a means of comfort for the people. 73 Then glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of four Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-fourth chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
