Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel, remember My blessing wherewith I blessed you, and fulfil My covenant and I shall fulfil your covenant; and have awe of Me. 40 And believe in that which I have sent down confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and barter not My revelations for a small price, and Me alone shall ye fear. 41 Do not mix truth with falsehood, or hide the truth when you know it. 42 and be constant in prayer, and spend in charity, and bow down in prayer with all who thus bow down. 43 ۞ Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allah) on the people and you forget (to practise it) yourselves, while you recite the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]! Have you then no sense? 44 Seek you help in patience and prayer, for grievous it is, save to the humble 45 Who know that they will have to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are returning. 46
