We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
