Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies God. His is the Kingdom, and His is the praise, and He is powerful over everything. 1 It is He who created you, and among you is the disbeliever, and among you is the believer. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing. 2 He has created the heavens and the earth in accordance with [an inner] truth, and has formed you - and formed you so well; and with Him is your journey's end. 3 He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you hide and what you disclose; God knows what is in the hearts. 4 Has the news of the unbelievers of the past not reached you? (They disbelieved) and then tasted its evil consequence. A grievous chastisement awaits them. 5 This was because their messengers came to them with clear proof (to support their prophethood) and they said, "Can mere mortals provide us with guidance?" They rejected the Messengers and turned away. God does not need the worship of anyone. He is Self-sufficient and Praiseworthy. 6 The disbelievers pretend that they will never be resurrected (for the Account). Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes! By my Lord, you will certainly be resurrected, then you will be informed of (and recompensed for) what you did, and that is easy for Allah. 7 So believe in God, His Apostle and the Light We have sent down. God is well aware of what you do. 8 The Day on which He will gather you for the Day of Gathering; that is the Day of Loss and Gain. He who believes in Allah and does good deeds, Allah will acquit him of his evil deeds and admit him to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where he shall live for ever. That is the mighty triumph. 9 Those who did not believe and denied Our revelations will be inmates of Hell, where they will abide for ever, and how evil a journey's end! 10
