Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 high above? 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
