The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 when they were seated around it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
