Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
