O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). 153 Do not say that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead, they are alive, although you are unaware. 154 Be sure We shall try you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth and life and the fruits (of your labour); but give tidings of happiness to those who have patience, 155 when a misfortune comes to them, they say, "We are Allah's and we shall certainly return to Him,'' 156 They are those on whom are the Salawat (i.e. blessings, etc.) (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided-ones. 157 ۞ [Hence,] behold, As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the symbols set up by God; and thus, no wrong does he who, having come to the Temple on pilgrimage or on a pious visit, strides to and fro between these two: for, if one does more good than he is bound to do - behold, God is responsive to gratitude, all-knowing. 158 They who conceal Our signs and the guidance We have sent them and have made clear in the Book, are condemned of God and are condemned by those who are worthy of condemning. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 Those who deny My existence and die with such attitude will be subject to the condemnation of God, the angels, and all people. 161 Under which they will live, and their suffering will neither decrease nor be respite for them. 162 Our Lord is the only Lord. There is no God but He, the Beneficent and Merciful. 163
