۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
