And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom; 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 and gave them such signs [of Our grace] as would clearly presage a test. 33 Indeed these people say: 34 'There is nothing except the first death, we shall never be revived. 35 "Then bring back our fore-fathers, if you speak the truth!" 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those afore them? We destroyed them; verily they were culprits. 37 We created not the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, in play; 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 Verily the Day of sorting out is the time appointed for all of them,- 40 The day when friend will help no friend in the least, nor will they be helped, 41 Save him on whom Allah hath mercy. Lo! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 42
