Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Have you received the news of the Enveloper? 1 Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated, 2 labouring, toilworn, 3 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- 4 They will be given drink from a boiling spring. 5 They will have no food except bitter thorn, 6 unfattening, unappeasing hunger. 7 Faces on that Day shall be delighted, 8 Well-pleased with their endeavour, 9 In a Garden on high, 10 They shall hear therein no vain discourse; 11 Therein will be a bubbling spring: 12 and couches raised high, 13 and goblets set at hand, 14 Cushions arranged, 15 and carpets spread out. 16 DO, THEN, they [who deny resurrection] never gaze at the clouds pregnant with water, [and observe] how they are created? 17 And the heaven, how it is reared aloft, 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 And the earth: how it was spread out? 20 Then remind them! Thou art only a reminder; 21 You are not a watcher over them; 22 But if any turn away and reject Allah,- 23 So Allah will mete out to him the greatest punishment. 24 Verily, to Us will be their return; 25 Then indeed only upon Us is their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
