The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
