Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver. 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil). 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 but I shall bring all their scheming to nought. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
