Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 and produce sparks 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
