The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 We suffice thee against the mockers, 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
