Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
