In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion of the Universe, and Who has power over everything; 1 Who hath created death and life that He might prove you, as to which of you is excellent in work. And He is the Mighty, the Forgiver. 2 He created seven heavens one above the other in layers. You will not find any flaw in the creation of the Gracious One. Then look once again: can you see any flaw? 3 Turn your eyes again and again. Your gaze turns back dazed and tired. 4 And verily We have beautified the world's heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame. 5 For those who believe not in their Lord there is the punishment of Hell; and what a wretched destination 6 When they are cast into it they shall hear it sighing, while it boils 7 As it would burst with rage. Whenever a (fresh) host is flung therein the wardens thereof ask them: Came there unto you no warner? 8 And they will answer: "Surely; a warner came to us, but we denied him, and said: 'God did not send down any thing; you are greatly deluded, in fact.'" 9 And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze." 10 So they acknowledge their sins; but far removed (from mercy) are the dwellers in the flames. 11 (As for) those who fear their Lord in secret, they shall surely have forgiveness and a great reward. 12 And conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. 13 Shall He not know, who created? And He is the All-subtle, the All-aware. 14

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
