No, by the moon! 32 by the retreating night, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 in Gardens they will question 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
