The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A flaming fire! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
