۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
