Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
