The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
