We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
