(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except those of the right hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
