Al-Nesaa 10 of 24

O People who Believe! Be cautious, then advance towards the enemy in small numbers or all together. 71 Lo! among you there is he who loitereth; and if disaster overtook you, he would say: Allah hath been gracious unto me since I was not present with them. 72 But if good fortune comes to you from God, such a person is sure to say - just as if there had never been any question of love between you and him: "Oh, would that I had been with them, and thus had a [share in their] mighty triumph!" 73 ۞ Therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world's life for the hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward. 74 And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, "Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?" 75 Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak. 76
