We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
