۞ Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 Hence, turn towards your Sustainer [alone] and surrender yourselves unto Him ere the suffering [of death and resurrection] comes upon you, for then you will not be succoured. 54 "And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Quran, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!" 55 "Lest the soul should (then) say: 'Ah! Woe is me!- In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked!'- 56 Or say: "If only God had guided me I would have been a man of fear and piety;" 57 it should say, when it sees the chastisement, 'O that I might return again, and be among the good-doers.' 58 It will be said to him, “Surely yes, why not?* My signs did come to you, so you denied them and you were haughty and you were a disbeliever.” (They will be mocked at.) 59 On the Day of Resurrection you shall see that the faces of those who had lied against Allah have turned dark. Is Hell not vast enough to provide a room to the vainglorious? 60 But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 God is the Creator and Guardian of all things. 62 For Him only are the keys of the heavens and the earth; and those who denied the signs of Allah – it is they who are the losers. 63
