The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
