AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 When they had passed over, he said to his page, 'Bring us our breakfast; indeed, we have encountered weariness from this our journey.' 62 His companion replied, "Do you remember the rock on which we took rest? Satan made me forget to mention to you the story of the fish and how it miraculously made its way into the sea. 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 Then they found one from among Our servants whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had taught knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention." 70
