The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
