We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 except for those who stealthily try to listen to the heavens, but who are chased away by a bright flame. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
