۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 and they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
