Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the sky, and by the nightly comer! 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 he shall have no power, and no helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while. 17

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
