The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 (It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return 95 Until when Ya'juj and Ma'juj are let out, and from every mound they are trickling down. 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 [Then they will be told:] "Verily, you and all that you [were wont to] worship instead of God are but the fuel of hell: that is what you are destined for. 98 If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein. 99 For them therein shall be groaning and therein they shall not hear. 100 Surely (as for) those for whom the good has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it; 101 neither shall they hear any of its whisper, but shall live for ever in that their souls desired. 102 The great fearful event shall not grieve them, and the angels shall meet them: This is your day which you were promised. 103 The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. 104 And verily we have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth: 105 Verily in this (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah. 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say: "It is revealed to me that your God is only One God. Will you, then, submit to Him?" 108 Then if they turn away, proclaim, “I have proclaimed a war against you on equal terms; and what do I know whether the promise which is given to you, is close or far?” 109 He knows surely what you say aloud, and what you hide within your breasts. 110 "I know not but that it may be a trial for you, and a grant of (worldly) livelihood (to you) for a time." 111 "Judge in truth (between us), O Lord," he said. "Our Lord is merciful, whose help we seek against what you attribute." 112
