۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
