Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
