▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

Let not the deniers think that they will ever get away. They cannot frustrate [God's purpose]. They have not the power to do so. 59 And get ready against them whatsoever ye can of force and wellfed horses whereby ye may overawe the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom ye know not; Allah knoweth them. And whatsoever ye expend in the way of Allah shall be repaid to you in full; and ye shall not be wronged. 60 ۞ If they incline to peace, incline you as well to it, and trust in Allah. Surely He is All-Hearing. All-Knowing. 61 And if they intend to deceive you-- then surely Allah is sufficient for you; He it is Who strengthened you with His help and with the believers 62 And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise. 63 O Prophet, Allah suffices you and whosoever follows you of the believers. 64
