And assuredly We vouchsafed unto Musa nine manifest signs - ask thou the Children of Israel - so when he came unto them, Fir'awn said unto him, verily I imagine thee, O Musa! enchanted. 101 He said: In truth thou knowest that none sent down these (portents) save the Lord of the heavens and the earth as proofs, and lo! (for my part) I deem thee lost, O Pharaoh. 102 So he resolved to scare them out of the land: but We drowned him along with all those who were with him. 103 After this We told the children of Israel: "Dwell in the land. When the promise of reckoning comes, We shall bring you together from a motley crowd. 104 And with truth We have sent it down and with truth it hath come down; and We have not sent thee but as a bringer of glad tidings and a warner. 105 And We sent down the Qur’an in parts, that you may gradually recite it to the people, and We sent it down slowly in stages. 106 Say: "Believe in it or do not believe: Those who were given knowledge before it bow in adoration when it is read out to them, 107 and say, "Glory to our Lord! Our Lord's promise is bound to be fulfilled." 108 They fall down on their faces in tears, and it increases their (earnest) humility. ۩ 109 Say to them (O Prophet!): "Call upon Him as Allah or call upon Him as al-Rahman; call Him by whichever name you will, all His names are beautiful. Neither offer your Prayer in too loud a voice, nor in a voice too low; but follow a middle course." 110 Say, "It is only God who deserves all praise. He has not begotten a son and has no partner in His Kingdom. He does not need any guardian to help Him in His need. Proclaim His greatness. 111
