And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 We said, "Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink," 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 Such is their noble story. The pious ones will certainly have the best place to return. 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 And they will Say: what aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the evil ones? 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
